Our mother had recently passed away and my sisters and I were left to sell our family home as well as the three-family rental our mother had owned directly next door to her home. We were over whelmed with the task of cleaning out and selling the properties. We asked Dawn Currier for some advice on how to proceed. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made!
Dawn acted as our sellers agent, got us organized and broke down this over whelming task into manageable steps. After her initial walk through, she recommended things we might want to do to secure the best possible selling price. Because the properties were adjacent to each other, she also recommended listing them with a reference to the other property for sale to maximize the option of a package sale. She was right on target with all of her recommendations, and did in fact sell both properties to the same buyer because of that.
Dawn was also very professional and tactful with the tenants. Her negotiation skills shined when the tenants, some who had lived there for 20 years or so, were at first very resistant to showings. Dawn met with each of the families and came up with a schedule of showing times that would maximize the buyers ability to effectively view the property while not making the tenants feel that they had strangers constantly walking through their apartments. Several of the tenants commented during the process that felt really comfortable with Dawn and after experiencing some of the other realtors that came through to view the property they were very thankful we hired Dawn to handle the sale. She treated them with respect and she was always conscious of the stress of the process on them.
Dawn helped us negotiate the selling price of the properties with extraordinary skill. When offers came in Dawn discussed the merits of each offer and suggested counter offer strategy. My sisters and I are especially thankful for the way she handled this part of the process given that we were selling the family home which was difficult for us.

Dawn was very professional and organized during the whole transaction, keeping in touch often to give us updates and keep us on track so we met all of our deadlines. Not an easy task with three sisters in the mix. She was driven to successfully complete the sale of our properties. Thank you Dawn for your expertise and guidance throughout this sale.
We have and will continue to recommend Dawn to our friends and extended family.

I'm writing to convey my thanks to Dawn Currier for the exceptional knowledge and expertise given to us during the purchase of our home.
It was not a typical purchase!
Dawn had been sending us MLS listings that were very helpful in seeing what was out there but we had not had any luck finding the perfect fit yet. We were on a time crunch because my home had sold (through Dawn as well) and I had approximately 3 months to find another home. We were feeling disappointed after viewing some properties one weekend and still not finding anything that really clicked, when we happened to drive by a For Sale By Owner property. My fiancé and I fell in love immediately with the outside of the home and asked Dawn if we could see it. Dawn arranged a showing and it was exactly what we were looking for! A restored Victorian with a giant wrap around porch, fabulous perennial gardens and lots of room inside for our soon to be combined family.
I wasn't sure how it would work purchasing a home that was for sale by owner but Dawn told me not to worry she'd work everything out. I am now certain that we would not have this home today if it weren't for Dawn!
The sellers of the home were not familiar with the selling process. Dawn, acting as my buyers agent, managed the entire process. Dawn went well above and beyond not only in helping my fiancé and I with all the steps involved with the purchase of a home but also in the great amount of time she put in trying to keep the sellers on the "correct path" during the sale process. She is professional, organized, tactful and showed a patience that was exemplary !
